Maison du Portugal, facade

Perforated aluminium cladding from RMIG has been used to create a transparent ‘veil’ around the Maison du Portugal building at the City of Paris International University.

Working directly with the architects to develop the solution, RMIG produced the final design from 700 m2 of aluminium, which incorporates a complex sequence of 3 mm and 7 mm wide perforated slots to create a repeating geometric pattern that runs seamlessly through the entire cladding.
