Painting
We will be pleased to arrange painting of products from RMIG.There are many different bright or opaque colours available if you choose a painted surface.
Painting often has two purposes, one is protection against corrosion and the other is decoration.
The need for protection against corrosion is highly dependent on the use of the end-product. The following table will give you an indication of the corrosion class to consider:

| Indoors: Heated buildings with neutral atmosphere (Not in damp atmosphere) Examples: Offices, schools, hotels |
| Indoors: Unheated buildings Outdoors: Low demand for wear and tear Examples: Sports centres and warehouses |
| Indoors: Production premises with high humidity and some air pollution Outdoors: Medium demand for wear and tear. Moderate urban and industrial atmosphere. Examples: Some laundries and dairy works |
| Indoors: Premises with high humidity Outdoors: Demand for high wear and tear. Examples: Swimming baths, industrial and coastal areas, multi-storey car parks |
In connection with corrosion class C4 aluminium is often recommended as raw material to obtain the best result.
For your information, there are also corrosion classes C5-1 and C5-2, but they are not used very often, which is why we have chosen to leave them out of the table.
To ensure the proper protection against corrosion it is important that the product gets the correct initial treatment, which RMIG is of course also willing to arrange.
